Each student has unique needs and a staff member of the office of Student Development will work with each student to develop an accommodation plan to provide equal access and opportunity. A student’s personal story and documentation are reviewed to determine eligibility and appropriate services.

College students attend personal counseling for a variety of reasons including but not limited to the following:

  • Depression
  • Relationship issues

  • Adjusting to college

Career Planning

Need help with your major or career?

Potential students can take advantage of Career Planning once they're accepted at UACCM. A counselor will help you explore possible majors and career matches to ensure you're on the right track when completing your degree. 

We take a look at the following:

  • Personality 
  • Interest 
  • Work Values 
  • Leisure Values 

Another part of Career Planning is resume building. We help students develop and refine their resumes to get the job they want!
